Talgfettaminoxethylat oder Talgalkylamin ethoxylat, engl. Polyethoxylated tallow amine (POEA), Tallowamin, ist ein nichtionisches Tensid, das als gelbbraune Flüssigkeit gut in Ethanol und Wasser lösbar ist.[1] Es wird in vielen Herbiziden als Zusatz verwendet, um die Penetration der aktiven Substanzen durch die Pflanzenzellwand zu verbessern.[2] Es wurde jedoch auch gezeigt, dass der Stoff die Atmungsmembran von Wasserorganismen zerstört.[3] In Kombination mit Glyphosat und Aminomethylphosphonsäure (AMPA) kommt es zu synergistischen Effekten, die Apoptose und Nekrose in menschlichen Nabelschnurzellen, embryonischen Zellen und Placentazellen hervorruft, da sie die Durchlässigkeit der Zellmembran erhöhen.[4]
